Owner access only. Personal Gmail/iCloud accounts, provider copies and backup expiry are outside this workflow. Retention is not automatic. A deletion receipt does not mean every copy about a person has been erased.

The export contains private mail and files. Store it securely. If the full conversation exceeds export limits, the operation fails rather than silently omitting records.

A hold prevents permanent deletion. Only an owner can release it.

Review permanent deletion

This removes the selected native conversation and its scoped data/files. Shared records may be retained or block deletion. Submitted email cannot be recalled. Uncertain or active delivery must be reconciled first.
